Future Cars Now

On the Commons on Sunday afternoon, you will see cars of the future: One will be a natural-gas powered Honda Civic GX courtesy of Barry Carr, a  Clean Cities coordinator.  Clean Cities is a program of the U.S. Department of Energy, Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy.  For more information, go to http://automobiles.honda.com/civic-gx/

Another will be a hydrogen fuel-cell car thanks to Paul Mutolo, associate director of the Cornell Fuel Cell Institute, Cornell Energy Frontier Research Center. For more information, go to http://cfci.ccmr.cornell.edu/

And we're hoping to have the Cornell 100 MPG+ car from the engineering students who are building for the Automotive X prize.  For more information, go to http://www.news.cornell.edu/stories/July09/AXPCar.html
