deep beatZ

Deep Beatz is a semi-regular event devoted entirely to underground electronic dance music in Ithaca, NY. Organized by local dj, Laika (real name: Sharinne Sukhnanand), and members of the Cornell Electronic Music Collective, Ithaca Experimental, and a couple of die-hard Ithacans, deep beatZ aims to feature live/dj electronic acts from local and regional artists in a variety of edm genres.

Our hope is to create a positive atmosphere where people can hear and explore new sounds and yet have fun at the same time. We are also committed to building a vibrant electronic music/ digital arts community in Ithaca, NY and North America and we welcome collaborations from audiovisual artists, vjs, and others who wish to contribute to this project.
