How Should it Grow?  Biofuels in the Finger Lakes Region

In this time of climate change and peak oil, biofuels may make sense for heat, electricity, and transportation fuels.  With the agriculture and forests we have in our region, there is great potential for economic development through the production of biofuels.  We can all name cut wood and corn ethanol.  But what are the new and potential biofuels?  What is the potential for our region to produce them?  And how can communities benefit in a sustainable manner?  Larry Walker, Peter Woodbury, and Krys Cail will help us think about both the potential benefits and drawbacks of the various biofuels for our region.
